Liliana is always a dream to work with! We knew that we had to capture all the beautiful sides of her! I love when my seniors bring out their personality in their portraits so when Liliana brought the books she wrote, I was in heaven! She is such a wonderful, smart, and accomplished young woman who has a lot going for her! 

Liliana plans to attend Colorado University Boulder to major in cellular Biology (but that major is likely is switch) 

Here are some questions Liliana answered for me: 

1. What is your favorite thing about being from Southeast Missouri?: Not from here, but my grandmother lives here. I’ve been coming to her house my whole life and it’s very nostalgic and beautiful

2. What was your favorite moment about shooting your senior portraits with me?: Mostly the reminiscing. Since you’ve been shooting for my family since I was a baby. But the whole shoot was fun and very relaxing energy

3. Tell me something fun and surprising about yourself!: I’m an author and I’ve written 2 novels and an anthology of poetry

4. If someone asked you who they should get to photograph their senior portraits and had NO IDEA who Photography By Carrie was, what would you say to them?: I would tell them you’re amazing but it might be hard to fly all the way to Missouri, haha. Definitely worth it though.
