Photography by Carrie is a professional portrait studio established by Carrie Perez in 2004 in Cape Girardeau Missouri.  Carrie's passion for photography started at age 8 when she first picked up a camera.  Her studio is located at 2117 Broadway in the heart of Carrie's hometown Cape Girardeau.  While babies and children are Carrie's specialty, the studio serves many avenues of portrait art including Highschool Seniors, Commercial, Families, and Restoration.  Carrie has an affinity for creating custom artwork.  She enjoys creating pieces that are as unique as her clients.  If you'd like Carrie to create a custom piece for your home, business, office, etc. don't hesitate to call.  

Carrie holds the Professional Photographers of America "Master of Photography" degree as well as the "Photographic Craftsman" degree.  She was also awarded the honor of being in the top ten photographers in Missouri as well as the top 100 photographers in the US.  She is an active member of Professional Photographers of America.

Since 2004, Carrie has won numerous awards for her photography on local, state and international levels.  She has been published in professional photographer magazine, PPA Showcase Book, and the prestigious PPA International Loan Collection Book.  

Carrie also travels the country speaking and sharing her knowledge with other photographers. Another way Carrie gives back is by photographing all the adoptable animals at her local animal shelter, Southeast Missouri Pets.  Each week, she spends time photographing and editing images to help the animals find their forever homes.  Giving back to the community she grew up in and the profession she loves is her dream come true.
