I'm the owner and the photographic artist at Photography by Carrie and it's my pleasure to serve the southeast Missouri area and beyond.  I've been around over 20 years and it's been a pleasure working with so many families, babies, seniors and businesses over the years.  I feel like most of these bios are the same so I'll try to be different.  

Photography is my full time job and has been for over 20 years.  I care about creating art for you and your family and I stand behind it's quality.  I guarantee your satisfaction if you choose to hire me.  It's my job to make your experience an excellent one.  

I love babies and animals. I feel like they're the closest to heaven we get here on earth.  Sitting on an airplane heading to a new destination is my favorite feeling. I'd probably travel full time and be a nomad if I could. I love sunsets, beaches, mountains and good coffee. 

I love learning so I have a college degree in education and one in photography.  I've also got a Master Photographer degree and Master Craftsman degree.  I have people call and ask me for advice all the time and I tell them learn the craft, learn the rules, master that and then you can be creative.  

Something I'm proud of is my service for the past 10 years to SEMO Pets.  I go and photograph the animals that need homes and it fills my heart to give back in this way.  I'm always blown away by their selfless staff who work so hard for those helpless animals.
